The Women's Association of Morristown Medical Center has secured a fantastic estate for our 2012 Mansion In May Designer Showhouse and Gardens - the historic castle, Glynallyn, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and considered one of the finest examples of authentic English Tudor architecture in the United States. Designed by the renowned Charles I. Berg, this incredible castle is located right in the heart of Morristown, NJ, in the section known as "Millionaire's Row," the early 1900's "country retreat" for New York City's rich and famous.

This 32,000 square foot castle, complete with 19 fireplaces, 66 rooms and 7.5 acres of terraced gardens will be brought back to its original grandeur, with relevance for 2012 living, by the skills and design imaginations of 40 talented interior designers and 16 area landscape architects. Even without the designers magic, this mansion is a treat to the eyes, with so many museum quality and historic details - from its 575 stained glass windows, to its plaster carved ceilings and mantles, stone carved faces, coats of arms, and arched porticos. The mansion will be open to the public from May 1 - May 31, but as our local media friend, we invite you to come and see it - there are so many stories to tell.
