Co-Chairs Mary Courtemanche, Pat O’Connor and Barbara Ruane are delighted to announce that David Ellis Events has been selected as caterer for the 2017 Mansion In May. This selection followed a process of reviewing bids and meeting with each interested caterer. David Ellis Events is owned by brothers Jonathan David Peters and Chad Ellis Peters. They have been in business for thirteen years and have catered MMC events such as the Garden Tour, Blairsden Gala, and the Campaign 360 Gala.
David Ellis’s executive chef, the Peters brothers, and the Café Co-Chairs are developing the menu for the Canfield Café. The selection committee was particularly impressed with the firm’s commitment to the freshness of food offered and to their interest in serving the community. Unused food will be donated to the soup kitchen daily. We are happy to have David Ellis Events as a partner in making the Canfield Café at Alnwick Hall-The Abbey in Morris Township a success.
