WOMEN'S ASSOCIATION FOR MORRISTOWN MEDICAL CENTER RECEIVES PROCLAMATION FROM TOWN OF MORRISTOWN FOR 125 YEARS OF VOLUNTEER SERVICES

Morristown, September 28, 2018 - The Women’s Association for Morristown Medical Center (WAMMC) was honored to receive a Proclamation from the Town of Morristown in recognition of its 125th Anniversary. Presented to
Mary Courtemanche, President of WAMMC by Mayor Timothy Dougherty,
it was held at the Council Chambers on September 25, 2018, where the
Mayor read the Proclamation which acknowledged WAMMC as an outstanding volunteer organization which has continued its mission of  "Contributing with Passion" since 1893 on behalf of Morristown Medical Center and the community it serves.

 

WAMMC is one of the oldest and most successful fundraising organizations in the country. A philanthropic partner of the Foundation for Morristown Medical Center since 1985, WAMMC is an integral part of the hospital's ability to continue to bring cutting-edge technology and superior health service to the community. To date, WAMMC has raised more than $30 million to support this mission.
