The Cause
The Women's Heart Program is committed to preventing cardiovascular disease in women throughout all ages and stages of life, including young adulthood, pregnancy, menopause, and beyond. Their comprehensive program educates, screens, and treats women experiencing cardiovascular symptoms or with known heart conditions. When more complex surgical intervention is required, they can seamlessly continue care through the network of expert providers affiliated with Atlantic Health. The experts understand the difference between women's and men's hearts and provide specialized care focused on women's unique risk factors. Testing is tailored to uncover individual risk and personalize treatment plans to ensure the best possible outcomes.
