Dannette Merchant has been a member of WAMMC for over 25 years, joining the Township Twig in 1995. Since that time, Dannette has been the Township Twig Co-Chair and Chair of the WAMMC Chapel Flowers, Membership, and Finance Committees. She served as WAMMC Vice President from 2011 - 2013 and WAMMC President from 2013 - 2015. Dannette was Co-Chair of Mansion in May 2012 at Glynallyn, the Castle, and along with her Co-Chair, Nathalie Dennis and a dedicated team of volunteers raised $1.3 million for the Inpatient Hospice and Palliative Care Center. Currently, the Co-Chair for WAMMC Art Committee, Dannette enjoys her volunteer position working with the committee volunteers to enhance the walls of MMC for the patients, staff and visitors.
