Women’s Association service committees are comprised of dedicated volunteers on a mission to make a difference for patients, visitors and staff at MMC.
Art Committee
The Art Committee acquires and places art throughout Morristown Medical Center, creating an aesthetically pleasing environment to benefit patients, staff, visitors and volunteers.
Art Exhibits
The Art Exhibit Committee brings the work of local artists to the halls of the Medical Center. These works of art can be purchased at our Corner Store Gift Shop. A percentage of the sale goes to the Women’s Association. The gallery not only benefits local artists but also ensures a beautiful Medical Center welcome.
Coastal Living: Watercolor and Oil Paintings by Lisa Budd
Featured in the Madison Avenue Gallery October 29-January 6, 2024
Lisa’s work revolves around capturing the strong light on a subject, balanced by rich, vibrant shadow colors. Coastal summer scenes presented in watercolor allow for large, spontaneous washes which capture the atmosphere of the day and the energy of the scene. The oil paintings begin with a bold, complimentary color underpainting which she retains in certain areas to accentuate the focal point. Enjoy the lovely Coastal scenes!
Chapel Flowers
The Chapel Flowers Committee ensures a welcoming and comforting environment in the Chapel. The Women’s Association contributes seasonal silk floral arrangements to add peace and tranquility to the space.
Special Holidays
Special Holidays bring a little bit of home to the Medical Center. Volunteers decorate the Medical Center for different holidays to provide a more inviting atmosphere for being at the hospital.
