Event Fundraisers
Event Fundraisers are planned and run by WAMMC members and committees including Twigs. Traditionally, our event fundraisers are held during an off Mansion year so we can maintain our financial commitment to Morristown Medical Center
Over the last several years we have hosted events including successful Farm to Table Dinners, a Country Bluegrass Bash and the Blue Skies Virtual Fundraiser, all of which raised funds for MMC causes.
Farm To Table
Our most recent Farm To Table was held at The Ross Farm on a gorgeous summer evening and featured delicious fare from local chefs and perfect wine pairings. We raised $210,000 to benefit the nurse residency program at the Sameth Emergency Department at MMC.
Blue Skies
The Women’s Association’s Blue Skies event in 2021 was unique in that it was our first ever virtual event, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We raised $148,000 to support the mental health initiatives for Atlantic Behavioral Health at Morristown Medical Center.
Country Bluegrass Bash
Our 2019 Country Bluegrass Bash raised $117,000 for building and outfitting a newly renovated room in the Foley Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Goryeb Children’s Hospital at Morristown Medical Center. Guests, dressed in festive country attire, gathered at The Park Avenue Club for a unique and fun evening of music, entertainment and an exciting silent auction.
