WAMMC has chosen a theme that will not only energize our volunteers but will also touch every corner of our community: Women’s Heart Health. As we dedicate this year to Women’s Heart Health, we also brought our logo to life.

Every beat reminds us of this life-saving focus, which is about empowering women, and those who love them, to take charge of their heart health at every age and stage of life.

To support this focus, we will roll out various initiatives ranging from educating women about heart-smart lifestyle habits to our spring fundraiser dedicated to advancing Women’s Heart Health.

WAMMC was pleased to kick off our program year with a lecture by Dr. Amy Ahnert, Director, Women’s Heart Program, at Morristown Medical Center, entitled Hot Topics in Women’s Heart Health.

Members gathered in the Forbes Auditorium for a lecture and Q&A session where we learned from Dr. Ahnert, focus on our mental well-being as a key component for a healthy heart.
