2026 Scholarship Joint Application Eligibility and Process

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:

​

  • be an MMC full-time, part-time or per diem employee who demonstrates a record of professional achievement and dedication to excellence in patient care.

​​

  • provide direct patient care or be actively involved in strong clinical support for patients.

​

  • demonstrate academic excellence and commitment to community service.

​

  • be in pursuit of a degree that is considered in the MMC hiring process.

​

  • exhibit leadership qualities as members of honorary society, hospital committee chairs or participants in departmental initiatives and research.

How to Apply

  1. Request a Manager's Recommendation Form see form HERE

  2. Complete application form found HERE

    • Submit an official transcript and cumulative GPA through Dec 2025 and tuition bill for currently enrolled courses for Spring 2026.​

Application Deadline:  February 13, 2026; incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

Notification of Award: On or about April 1, 2026

It is important to remember to request your transcript and bill as soon as possible from your school. If your application includes incomplete, inaccurate and/or missing documentation it will not be considered, so applicants are strongly encouraged to review all requirements carefully before submission.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING ARE NEEDED BEFORE THE APPLICATION PROCESS CAN BE INITIATED:

  • current transcript with cumulative GPA through December 2025 and tuition bill for currently enrolled courses for the spring 2026 semester

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Are Certificate Programs, such as MD, MBA, and DDS degrees eligible?  No, these certificate programs are not eligible.

​​

  • Do some scholarships have extra eligibility requirements?  Yes, while all applicants must meet the general criteria, some scholarships have additional requirements.

​​

  • Are applicants eligible to apply if they are receiving financial support through the Tuition Reimbursement Program (TRP)?   Yes, you are eligible to apply if your are receiving financial support through the TRP.

​​

  • Can previous recipients reapply?  Previous recipients are eligible to reapply provided they continue to meet the eligibility criteria.​
