Barbara Ruane, Co-Chair of Mansion in May, has been an active member of the Women's Association for 12 years. She has been enthusiastically involved in a variety of programs the Association offers to support Morristown Medical Center. Healing Services' activities are wide-ranging through multiple committees including Scholarship, Magnet Component and Best Nursing Team Award Programs, Art Exhibit, Art Collection, Calling All Kids, WAMMC TV, the Ruth Award Program, Chapel Flowers, and Employee Gift Baskets, and offers a behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of the Hospital and its dedicated personnel. As one example, numerous volunteers are needed for two days in December to display holiday decorations throughout the hospital, followed by their removal and storage in January. Barbara proudly joins the dedicated women of WAMMC, vital partners supporting the important work of MMC and an integral component of its success.
