Julie eagerly became a member of WAMMC when she retired from teaching in 2016. Prior to that she was aware of the amazing work of this organization as she volunteered on weekends in several Mansion in May cafes. Since becoming a member she has served on Publicity and Membership committees. As Hospital Liaison, Julie worked with Nurse Management in the selection and awarding of annual nursing awards. She has been writing the Member Spotlight for eVoice since 2024. With a passion for children’s literature, she led a committee in writing and publishing a book, Our Starry Wishes, with the Calling All Kids team for the benefit of Goryeb Children’s Hospital. Julie was co-chair of the MIM 2025 Grand Raffle at Wildfair. Newly elected as vice president in charge of Membership and Business Opportunities, Julie looks forward to working closely with The Bargain Box, MMC Corner Gift Shop, and all areas that involve membership.
