Kim Harwanko joined the Women's Association of Morristown Medical Center in 2011 after friends encouraged her to become involved. Inspired by the Association's mission and dedicated volunteers, she quickly became an active member.

Over the past 15 years, Kim has served as a chair or co-chair for six Mansion in May events and will continue as co-chair for Mansion in May 2027. She currently serves as Secretary of the Executive Committee and as the Association's Archivist.

One of Kim's favorite aspects of volunteering has been working alongside the dedicated members of WAMMC and collaborating with the talented designers of Mansion in May. She has found the Association's archival initiative especially rewarding. Reviewing, organizing, and preserving nearly a century of historical documents has given her a deep appreciation for the volunteers whose commitment has shaped the Association's legacy.

Professionally, Kim is the Program and Communications Coordinator for the Chester Library, where she develops community programs and manages communications. She is also a freelance writer and journalist.
