WAMMC AWARDS 33 SCHOLARSHIPS IN 2025

 

In 2025 the WAMMC Scholarship awarded $66,000 to a total of 33 eligible employees to help further their continued education, development and leadership skills. These awards are made possible by the continued generosity of our donors, members and our TWIG organization.

2025 Scholarship Profiles

KAITLYN AMBROSE

Kaitlyn is a Registered Nurse on the Kahn 3 Step Down Unit.  She has worked at MMC for 6 years. On the unit, she currently serves in the role of Night Unit Educator, implementing educational opportunities for employees. Kaitlyn is active in unit-based governance and is also an active member of MMC’s Pain Committee and Professional Practice Model Workgroup.

 

Kaitlyn is valued as a team player who is always available to help her co-workers.  She is known as someone who goes “above and beyond” for patients and families. She has been the recipient of multiple PRIDE recognitions and achieved PACT Level 3 in 2024. Kaitlyn is currently a student at Seton Hall University, working towards an MSN, Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She plans to graduate in May 2027.
