The Women's Association presents Garden State of Mind, a new Spring fundraiser. The two day event in June will include a Farm to Table Supper and a Secret Garden Tour.
The Farm to Table Supper will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 at Fairfield Farm, a private estate in Bernardsville, NJ. This rustic yet elegant outdoor dining experience will bring together some of the Garden State’s most notable, home-grown chefs led by Corey Heyer, Executive Chef at The Bernards Inn, who will showcase upscale cuisine using seasonal and local ingredients. The evening will also
include a grand prize raffle drawing and tricky tray raffle. We hope you will join us to mix, mingle and dine under the stars in a beautiful historic setting.
Invitations will be mailed in late spring. Tickets will be limited and will not be available at the door.
The second part of this glorious weekend is the Secret Garden Tour on Saturday, June 11, 2016. This will be a rare opportunity to visit four of Morris County's most remarkable properties. Each garden has been designed by one of the area's top landscape architects and features characteristics unique to each property, such as the natural terrain, vistas and plantings.
The tour will start and end at 475 South Street, Morristown. Patrons will be transported to each of the locations by Atlantic Health System shuttle buses. The price of the ticket will be $85.00. Invitations will be mailed in April.
The tour will run from 9:30am-4:00pm with the last shuttle bus departing from 475 South Street at 2:30pm. All proceeds from the Garden State of Mind will benefit the Women’s Cancer Center at the Carol G. Simon Cancer Center.
