WAMMC AWARDS 37 SCHOLARSHIPS IN 2026

 

In 2026 the WAMMC Scholarship awarded $74,000 to a total of 37 eligible employees to help further their continued education, development and leadership skills. These awards are made possible by the continued generosity of our donors, members and our Twig organizations.

2026 Scholarship Profiles

KAITLYN AMBROSE

Kaitlyn is an RN on the Kahn 3 Step Down Unit.  She has worked at MMC for 7 years. Kaitlyn's dream is to become a Nurse Practitioner here at MMC where she will combine her compassionate bedside care with her education. This combination will ensure that her adult patients receive the best care.  Kaitlyn is valued as a team player who is always available to help her co-workers and she goes “above and beyond” for patients and families. She has been the recipient of the Gold Standard Award and Employee of the month from Kahn and received the Helping Hands Award. 


Kaitlyn is currently a student at Seton Hall University, working towards an MSN, Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She plans to graduate in May 2027.
