MORRISTOWN, NJ, August 6, 2018 –The Women’s Association for Morristown Medical Center (WAMMC) is pleased to announce that The Bargain Box Thrift Boutique opened its doors on August 1, 2018 in a new location on the "Country Mile" at 1117 Mt. Kemble Avenue (Route 202 South) in Morristown, NJ.
The Bargain Box, formerly located at 102 Mt. Kemble Avenue for over 30 years, offers high-quality, gently-used, affordably-priced merchandise from designer-label clothing for men, women, children, students and professionals to shoes, handbags and jewelry, as well as collectibles, household goods and vintage items.
The Bargain Box is more than just a great shopping experience. It’s a thrift boutique with a mission. A staple of WAMMC’s fundraising efforts since the early 60’s, The Bargain Box provides continuous revenue to support Morristown Medical Center’s ongoing efforts to bring numerous hospital programs and superior health services to the community.
“What started out as a small thrift shop on South Street in Morristown over 60 years ago to help raise money for Morristown Medical Center, has turned into one of WAMMC’s largest and most successful fundraising entities,” said Mary Courtemanche, President, Women’s Association for Morristown Medical Center. “We look forward to continuing our success by providing the same great bargains and service in a brand new location.” The Bargain Box Thrift Boutique is open Mondays (12:30 pm. to 4:00 pm), Tuesdays through Fridays (10:00 am to 4:00 pm) and Saturdays (10 am to 3 pm).
